THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 23, PLAN TO ATTEND
"Access to comprehensive, quality healthcare services:
It's Important to us all. It's Essential to our quality of life."
Washington Hospital Healthcare System:
"The Future of Healthcare in Our Community"
Join us to learn how the Morris Hyman Critical Care Pavilion at Washington Hospital will transform health care in the Tri-Cities area. Scheduled to open in the fall of 2018, the three-story pavilion rests on a base isolation system enabling it to move horizontally and vertically during an earthquake. Here in the East Bay, where many hospitals and emergency services are located near or on active earthquake faults - this alone is a critical determining factor in how well we will survive a "big one." The 223,000 sq.ft. new pavilion will house an expanded emergency department and a state-of-the-art intensive care unit. Ed Fayen, Senior Associate Administrator at Washington Hospital, will bring us a visual, in-depth look at the new pavilion and the clinical services that will be offered in it; plus, share the visionary outreach of Washington Hospital.
