• Your Business Mixer - What are you waiting for?

  • Wouldn't you like to have a captive audience come to YOU - right in your own business, ready to meet you and your team, listen to what you want them to hear about what you do - and in an upbeat social mood that makes them receptive to your message?  Well, it's pretty easy to do. Business owners and managers showcase their businesses by hosting a Chamber Mixer. It's your time to shine - expose your business, what you do and how you do it, to your current customers, to your fellow chamber members and local leaders - all of whom could be prospective customers. They've come to you, you're treating them like honored guests and new relationships are easy to start. You can start right now by filling the online Mixer Schedule Form at the bottom of this page!

    Not sure what you would do? Start the ball rolling with tasty eats and beverages, and welcoming smiles.  Let your imagination be your guide – many of our Mixers incorporate themes to create a wonderful party atmosphere. Past hosts have celebrated Mardi Gras, Independence Day, Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day, or themes such as Hawaiian Luau, Country Western BBQ, or Mexican Fiesta. The Chamber has hosted it's Annual Holiday Mixer each year using the "Ugliest Sweater/Tie/Costume" theme. Check out those really tacky outfits in the photo below! There's no limit to your creativity, after all - you're the party host!

    HERE ARE THE DETAILS:
    • When are Mixers scheduled? Mixers are held on the 2nd and/or 4th Tuesdays of each month, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the host facility or a location of their choice. There are a number of open dates available right now.
    • What the Mixer host does:  The host is responsible for food and beverages, decorations (if desired), usually a prize or two. It's VERY smart to invite your own client list, ask them to bring a friend, and invite your prospective clients as well.
    • What the Chamber does:
    • Before the Event: We announce your Mixer multiple times on-line, by adding you to our website calendar (our upcoming events scroll on each page, not just the calendar page), and posting to our Facebook Page. We can make it easy for your guests to RSVP if you so desire. We email reminders to our Members and local dignitaries. We provide advice and ideas to help you create a memorable and effective networking event.
    • At the Event: Our volunteer Chamber Ambassador Team is on site to help you greet guests and encourage mixing and, to introduce you, the host, to all your guests. You have the floor to tell everyone a few special details about your business that you want to share. We collect business cards to share with you so that you'll know who to follow up with later.
    • After the Event: When the party's over, we'll post photos which we and you can share on our social media pages. It's a SUPER EASY way to promote your business!
